The role of the Estimator
Commercial Roof Maintenance will involve: Estimator position dealing with a range of various industrial and commercial roofing maintenance and repair services; cut edge treatment, full roof overlay, single skin, composite, liquid & singly ply membranes, gutter refurbishment, leak investigation & repair, roof & gutter cleaning, and roof slating & tiling Reviewing engineer recommendations and client requests and generating minor works quotations Using spreadsheets and bespoke software to calculate costs to carry out minor works Securing works orders, procurement of parts and plant and scheduling works Assist with the development of supply chain by identifying potential new suppliers Carrying out site surveys as and when required (National with some overnight stays) Projects range in value from £1k to £100k The ideal applicant will be an Estimator
