The role of the Sales Manager – Height Safety Systems will involve:
- Managing and leading a team of three Business Development Managers.
- Representing the company at events, meetings and presentations.
- Selling the installation of height safety systems to property & facility managers, contractors and end users such as schools and commercial clients.
- Setting standards and targets for the sales team.
- Monitoring and managing a pipeline of on-going and upcoming tenders.
- Consulting with clients to understand their requirements and proposing appropriate solutions for projects.
- Tracking and following up on quotes sent out by the estimating team.
Project sizes ranging from £25,000 to £1m.
The ideal applicant will have:
- Strong people management experience within sales, sales management or senior sales experience.
- Experience working for a sub-contractor selling height safety solutions or within a related industry such as fire, security, lightning protection, electrical, etc.
- Strong proven leadership skills.
- Familiarity with HubSpot software.
- Hungry and motivated to succeed.
- Strong computer fluency.
- Confident phone communication with customers.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels.
