The role of Estimator – Commercial Fit Out will involve:
- Estimator position dealing with fit‑out and refurbishment projects for various industries such as leisure, retail, healthcare, hotels, offices, pubs & restaurants
- Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations
- Negotiating with sub‑contractors and suppliers
- Producing formal quotations to customers
- Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
- Keeping good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
- Contacting customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with sub‑contractors and suppliers
- Working on projects ranging in value up to £10m
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Commercial Fit Out with:
- Extensive estimating experience within the construction fit‑out market sector
- Good technical knowledge and understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
- Resilient individual
