The role of the Technical Sales Engineer – Louvres and HVAC Systems will involve:

  • Field sales role selling predominantly a manufactured and distributed range of louvres, AHU's, HRU's, radiant panels, grilles & diffusers, natural ventilation, displacement ventilation, VAV & CAV and trench heating.
  • Focus is on working with M&E consultants and architects to design and specify HVAC solutions, either by combining standard products into a system or adapting them for specialist applications.
  • Remainder of time managing relationships with M&E contractors.
  • Tasked with maintaining turnover of circa £1m.
  • Taking over some long established relationships with M&E consultants and contractors.
  • CPD presentations.
  • Order values typically £20,000 but can range from £10,000-£250,000.

The ideal applicant will be a Technical Sales Engineer – Louvres and HVAC Systems with:

  • Proven track record in HVAC field sales.
  • Ideally sold louvres or AHU’s.
  • Will also consider other building services field sales backgrounds with experience winning specifications with M&E consultants and architects.
  • Open to a Technical Sales Engineer or a Building Services Engineer who wants to move into a more commercial role.
  • Some CAD experience may be useful.
  • Strong technical background, especially in building services or HVAC.
  • Knowledge of HVAC/ building services systems.
  • Specific knowledge of grilles, diffusers, VAV systems, FCUs, AHUs, acoustic solutions, natural ventilation, displacement systems and other bespoke solutions may be beneficial.
  • Open to most HVAC/ building services industry experience such as; ventilation, diffusion, floor grilles, louvres, pipework, insulation etc.
  • Self-motivated, good communicator and IT literate.
