The role of the Project Manager / Site Manager Flat Roofing involves:

  • Promoting a high quality range of flat roofing services; cold applied liquid, built up felt, hot melt, green roofs, solar, and single ply.
  • Managing all aspects of the project from tender to completion.
  • Writing up health and safety documents for each individual site.
  • Monitoring all site activity; organising all site workers, collating risk assessments and carrying out health and safety checks.
  • Liaising with quantity surveyors and commercial managers to ensure all works are moving smoothly and that project deadlines are adhered to, whilst maintaining the project cost plan.
  • Liaising with clients and providing reports for the project.
  • Attending pre-contract meetings and progress meetings with clients.
  • Maintaining good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation.
  • Overseeing a single contract at any given moment, predominantly working on commercial projects such as local authorities, NHS, and schools.

The ideal applicant will have:

  • A proven track record in Site or Project management in the flat roofing market sector.
  • Experience in both new build (single ply & hot melt) and refurbishment flat roofing systems.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal across all levels.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • The ability to work well as a team and fit the culture.
  • A CSCS card & SMSTS.
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Confidence and articulation.
  • The ability to plan and organise deliverables.
  • High self-confidence.
