Position: Area Sales Manager – Gas, Oil & Dual Fuel Burners

Location and Coverage: North (Birmingham to Scottish border). Ideally based near M62.

Remuneration and Benefits: £50,000 – £55,000 base + uncapped commission. Benefits include fully expensed car, £5 daily lunch allowance, healthcare, life insurance, and 24 days holiday.

Responsibilities:

  • Field sales position selling a manufactured range of gas, oil and dual fuel burners.
  • Generate specifications with M&E, M&E contractors, consulting engineers, process industries, end users, local authorities, and OEMs.
  • Target achieving circa £325k turnover (often £800k).
  • Follow sale from specification through to completion, ensuring specification is not broken.
  • Cover area from Birmingham to Scottish border.

Qualifications:

  • Sales experience in plumbing & heating / engineering sector.
  • Engineer with relevant technical background who wishes to move into sales (preferred).
  • Comfortable selling to consultants, contractors, consulting engineers, local authorities, process industries, and end users.
  • Knowledge of specific burners or boilers not essential but advantageous.
  • Intelligent and process/engineering backgrounds preferred.
