The role of the Contract Kitchen Designer will involve:
- Selling a manufactured range of contract kitchens into Tier 1 contractors
- Producing accurate designs and quotations for kitchen layouts using CAD software
- Creating quotations, ensuring that all additional items and accessories are included as per the client's specification
- Discussing design requirements with the client/contractor to build relationships and to ensure our drawings are right first time
- Creating tender documents in presentation format to be issued back to the client
- Able to check designs/quotes accurately including other people's work
- Adhering to internal working systems and procedures
- Reading tender enquiries and extracting customer specifications
- Producing designs for circa 100 - 600 kitchens with a project value ranging between £1m to £6m
The ideal applicant will be a Contract Kitchen Designer with:
- Design experience within the kitchens market sector, ideally experienced with contract kitchens
- Self-sufficiency and ability to hit the ground running
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Winner or Fusion
- Excellent customer service skills
- Charismatic, very personable, professional and confident
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Organised, methodical, good journey planner
