The role of the Electrical Estimator M&E will involve:
- Estimator role dealing with a range of electrical installation services for predominantly the commercial & industrial market sectors
- Gain an understanding of project requirements through drawings, specifications, tender documents and client liaison
- Analyse project plans and perform quantity take-offs to accurately estimate labour, material, equipment and subcontractor costs
- Obtain and evaluate competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender submissions and proposals in line with client requirements
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams throughout the estimating process
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, pricing information and project documentation
- Support cost control initiatives and prepare reports for management review and decision-making
The ideal applicant will be an Electrical Estimator M&E with:
- Must have Estimating experience within the Electrical market sector
- May be open to a candidate with Electrical experience looking to step up into an Estimator role
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Capable of building and maintaining long term relationships with clients
- Resilient, hardworking attitude
- Full UK driving license
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
