The role of the Internal Sales Executive Timber Construction Products will involve:
- Internal sales position, selling a comprehensive range of carcassing timber, pallet and packaging material timber, Canadian lumber, machined whitewoods, saw milling, block wood, kiln dried decking and fencing timber.
- Predominantly selling to housing developers, subcontractors and merchants such as MKM and Jewsons.
- Building relationships and managing an existing portfolio of clients.
- Dealing with inbound enquiries via email and telephone.
- Conducting cold calling and new business development.
- Liaising with the production department to ensure all sales requirements are met.
The ideal applicant will have:
- Sales experience, ideally within the construction industry.
- Confidence in making outbound sales calls.
- Experience with timber products is highly advantageous but not essential.
- A positive attitude, even if more junior.
- The ability to work under pressure and to timescales when required.
- Team player with a positive outlook.
- IT literate (Microsoft Office).
