The role of the Internal Sales Executive Insulation & Dry-lining will involve:

  • Internal Sales position, selling a manufactured range of Insulation & Dry-lining products
  • Selling to dry lining contractors, sub-contractors and other construction customers across the building, fire protection and associated sectors
  • 50% split across both new business and account management
  • Liaising with and supporting the external sales team, helping them to generate new sales opportunities, increasing sales within their territory
  • Processing orders & dealing with enquiries, providing excellent customer service at all times
  • Supporting branch sales targets by generating quotations, following up outstanding opportunities and converting enquiries into sales
  • Carrying out admin responsibilities such as logging all relevant customer information on the internal CRM system

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Sales experience within the construction sector
  • Ideally come from a distributor or merchant background
  • Experience within the insulation or dry-lining sector is preferred however not essential
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office)
  • High levels of organisation and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Great relationship builder/account development skills
