The role of Designer Bespoke Joinery & Woodwork includes:
- Designer position dealing with a range of bespoke joinery and woodwork projects, including furniture and interior fit-out
- Producing detailed technical and manufacturing drawings from customer briefs, architectural drawings and project specifications
- Working closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams to develop practical and commercially viable design solutions
- Managing projects from initial concept through to manufacture, ensuring designs meet customer requirements and production capabilities
- Liaising with production and operational teams to resolve technical queries and ensure the successful delivery of projects
- Maintaining accurate project documentation, drawings and specifications whilst providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle
The ideal applicant will be a Designer Bespoke Joinery & Woodwork with:
- Must have Design experience within the Woodworking or Joinery sector
- Highly advantageous to have previous experience on retail fit-out projects
- Would be beneficial to come from the tools (joiner / machinist etc.)
- Ideally have AutoCAD experience, open to 2D or 3D
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Full UK driving license
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good team player who also works well individually
