The role of the Area Sales Manager GRP Industrial Rooflights will involve:
- Field sales position selling a high quality manufactured range of profiled rooflight for the commercial buildings, industrial and agricultural market.
- 60% of your time will be spent selling to industrial roofing contractors and profilers.
- The remaining 40% of your time will be spent influencing and generating specifications with architects and specifiers.
- Will be expected to turnover circa £2m, area currently tracking on budget, plus a very healthy order book to inherit.
- Projects from £5,000-£300,000.
- Following up on Glenigan leads.
- Two quality customer visits per day, four days per week.
- Working closely with internal and external support team and colleagues to get the most from the sales process.
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager GRP Industrial Rooflights with:
- Must have field sales experience in the building envelope sector.
- Must have sold to one of the following routes to market; roofing contractors, profilers, architects, specifiers.
- Must be technical minded.
- Industrial roofing sector field sales experience is not essential.
- Ideally have experience selling a technical product such as; rooflights, GRP, profiles, roofing, glazing, cladding, insulation, facades, canopies, walkways, roof lights, skylights, ceilings, curtain walling (however no essential).
- Strong computer literacy skills.
- High levels of organisational skills such as planning, punctuality and prescience.
