The role of the Project Manager / Site Manager Flat Roofing involves promoting a high quality range of flat roofing services including cold applied liquid, built up felt, hot melt, green roofs, solar, and single ply.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing all aspects of the project from tender to completion
  • Writing up health and safety documents for each individual site
  • Monitoring all site activity; organising all site workers, collating risk assessments and carrying out health and safety checks
  • Liaising with quantity surveyors and commercial managers to ensure smooth progress and adherence to project deadlines while maintaining the project cost plan
  • Liaising with clients and providing reports for the project
  • Attending pre-contract meetings and progress meetings with clients
  • Maintaining good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation
  • Overseeing a single contract at any given moment, predominantly on commercial projects such as local authorities, NHS, and schools

The ideal applicant will have:

  • A proven track record in Site or Project management in the flat roofing market sector
  • Experience in both new build (single ply & hot melt) and refurbishment flat roofing systems
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal across all levels
  • A full UK driving license
  • The ability to work well as a team and fit the culture
  • A CSCS card & SMSTS
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Confidence and articulation
  • The ability to plan and organise deliverables
  • High self-confidence
