The role of the Site Technician Flat Roofing Systems will involve:

  • Dealing with the installation of various flat roof systems such as felt roofing, green roofing systems, bitumen membranes, hot melt roofing, cold liquid applied waterproofing, waterproof roof coatings, single ply, structural waterproofing etc.
  • Building and fostering relationships within our clients approved roofing contractor network
  • Training of Approved Contractor operatives, ensuring the content of the training and quality of delivery are to the highest possible standard
  • Overseeing site installation monitoring, across all flat roofing and waterproofing systems
  • Ensuring highest levels of workmanship are upheld
  • Delivering hands on training for approved contractor operatives
  • Carrying out site inspections for multiple ongoing projects
  • Completing and distributing inspection reports following site inspections and quickly communicating any issues that require immediate attention
  • Acting as an intermediary to assist the project team and contractors in resolving issues

The ideal applicant will be a Site Technician Flat Roofing Systems with:

  • Installation or training experience working with various flat roofing systems such as felt roofing, bitumen membranes; hot melt roofing, cold liquid applied waterproofing, waterproof roof coatings, single ply, structural waterproofing etc.
  • Extensive experience with bitumen and single ply
  • Experience in delivery of Training - Train the Trainer qualification advantageous
  • Strong technical skills
  • Full UK driving license
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
