The role of the Estimator Security Fencing will involve:
- Estimator role dealing with a manufactured range of security fencing solutions and access products for a range of commercial, defence and education sectors.
- Interpreting client requirements, specifications and scope of works.
- Manage the full tender life-cycle from start to finish.
- Interpret fire protection specifications and accurately assess requirements.
- Complete take-offs and quantify materials for structural steel and coating systems.
- Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to confirm project requirements.
- Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database.
- Work on projects typically ranging in value from £50k-£10m.
The ideal applicant will have experience as an Estimator within one or more of the following sectors: fencing, security, access, manufacturing, steel, engineering, barriers, doors, entry systems, CCTV, fire or related.
- Ideally experienced in managing large projects that need a technical outlook.
- Design experience would be highly advantageous.
- Professional manner combined with great communication skills.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Willing to assist in other areas of the business as and when required.
- Pro-active, organised, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual.
- Computer literate.
- Full UK driving license.
