Location: Commutable to Hull

Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 neg + Annual Bonus

The role of the Estimator – Mechanical & Electrical will involve:

  • Estimator role dealing with a range of electrical installation services for predominantly the commercial & industrial market sectors
  • Gain an understanding of project requirements through drawings, specifications, tender documents and client liaison
  • Analyse project plans and perform quantity take-offs to accurately estimate labour, material, equipment and subcontractor costs
  • Obtain and evaluate competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender submissions and proposals in line with client requirements
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams throughout the estimating process
  • Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, pricing information and project documentation
  • Support cost control initiatives and prepare reports for management review and decision-making

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Mechanical & Electrical with:

  • Must have Estimating experience within the Electrical market sector
  • May be open to a candidate with Electrical experience looking to step up into an Estimator role
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Capable of building and maintaining long term relationships with clients
  • Resilient, hardworking attitude
  • Full UK driving license
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
