The role of the Estimator Mechanical Building Services will involve:
- Mechanical Estimator position dealing with a range of mechanical building service & maintenance contracts
- Receiving and reviewing enquiries from end users and facilities management companies
- Carrying out site surveys to gain a better understanding of project requirements
- Review drawings, specifications, and documentation to assist in preparing quotes and support in developing larger estimates
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive prices
- Presenting quotes to client and following project through to completion
- Build and develop client relationships to understand specific client needs and understand key drivers and discover future opportunities
- Working on projects ranging in value from £10k to £200k
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator Mechanical Building Services experience with:
- Must have experience as a Mechanical Estimator, dealing with a range of HVAC products such as boilers, heat pumps, chillers and ancillaries
- Working knowledge of heating, domestic water, chilled water and basic gas in live environments
- Ideally will have a HNC in Building Services, however experience weighs heavier
- IT literate (Microsoft Office & Estimating software)
- High levels of attention to detail and organisation
- Full UK driving license
