The role of the Estimator Aluminium Glazing & Facades Systems will involve:
- Producing estimates for a high end range of manufacturers aluminium and steel entrance doors, windows, glazing systems, facades, sliding doors, bi fold doors, balconies and conservatories
- Analysing project specifications, interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, and determining accurate product selection in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Utilising specialist estimating software to determine material costs
- Ensuring that the internal CRM system is regularly updated
- Attending meetings alongside the sales team with clients where required
- Prioritising own work load to ensure deadlines are met
The ideal applicant will have:
- Estimating experience within the aluminium systems market sector
- Experience as a user of SchuCal / LogiKal or similar estimating software
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- IT literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- A proactive and motivated individual with strong commercial awareness
