The role of the Estimator - Acoustic Solutions will involve:
- Estimator position dealing with the supply and installation of our clients manufactured range of acoustic solutions
- Reviewing technical drawings and scopes of work in order to produce accurate take offs
- Gather and review blueprints, specifications, and related documents
- Calculate costs by assessing labour, materials, and time requirements
- Communicate with internal teams throughout the estimating process
- Identify and resolve discrepancies through information analysis
- Present estimates with clear numerical and descriptive data
- Compile reports summarising data, trends, and findings
- Attend pre-contract meetings to brief the drafting team on scope
- Managing projects ranging in value from £10,000 up to £5,000,000
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator - Acoustic Solutions with:
- Must have experience as an Estimator working for a contractor
- Ideally will have an understanding of ceilings, partitions, fit-out, panels and acoustics
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- IT literate (Microsoft Office, with a sound understanding of Excel)
- Technically minded individual with strong numerical skills
