The role of Estimator Bespoke Joinery will involve:
- Dealing with a high-end range of bespoke commercial joinery projects (desks, paneling, furniture, cabinets and surfaces).
- May be a requirement to visit sites across the South East & London.
- Review tender enquiries to determine scope of works and project deadlines.
- Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines.
- Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database.
- Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information.
- Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers.
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator Bespoke Joinery with:
- Estimating experience within the joinery/bespoke joinery/cabinet maker/bespoke furniture market or closely related sectors.
- Highly advantageous to have knowledge of Contract Controller.
- Great technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs.
- Highly organised with good attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good team player who also works well individually.
