The role of the Senior Designer Scaffolding will involve:
- Dealing with various scaffolding temporary works for residential, commercial and industrial projects.
- Leading glazing design from tender through to construction, ensuring compliance with requirements and UK standards.
- Reviewing specifications to identify risks and opportunities early.
- Aligning design with budget and programme in coordination with commercial, estimating, and procurement teams.
- Acting as the main technical contact, managing stakeholders and approving subcontractor designs.
- Ensuring timely, high-quality design delivery while supporting testing, compliance, and buildability on site.
- Designing for a broad range of independent to national projects.
The ideal applicant will be a Senior Designer Scaffolding with:
- Extensive design experience.
- Experience or strong understanding of scaffolding or temporary works.
- A background in the plant hire/access solutions sector.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- High levels of attention to detail and organisation.
- Familiarity with working in a fast-paced environment dealing with multiple projects at any one time.
- Enthusiasm, being a team player, who works well individually also.
