Designer / Draughtsperson – Bespoke Joinery & Furniture Job Title: Designer / Draughtsperson – Bespoke Joinery & Furniture Job reference Number: (phone number removed) Industry Sector: Designer, Draughtsperson, Draughtsman, Rhino, Solidworks, CAD-CAM, Fit out, Joinery, Carpentry, Furniture, Bespoke Joinery, Bespoke Furniture Location: Yorkshire Office Remuneration: £30,000 – £40,000 Benefits: Full Comprehensive Benefits Package The role of the Designer / Draughtsperson – Bespoke Joinery & Furniture will involve: * Designer position dealing with a high end bespoke range of bespoke furniture and joinery projects * Responsibility for efficient and accurate delivery of design schemes in line with client requirements, project scope, costs, material lead times and deadlines * Review and interpret client drawings to gain a full understanding of what the project entails * Liaising with the client to obtain and further information that is required * Producing clear 2D drawings using Solidworks & Rhino, elevations and layouts should be scaled accordingly to maximise clarity and understanding * Working closely with the Design Manager on completed works and projected workload * Liaise with procurement, project and workshop teams regarding any long lead time materials * Discuss design decisions with Lead Joiners * Working on projects ranging in value from £1k – £3.5m The ideal applicant will be a Designer / Draughtsperson – Bespoke Joinery & Furniture with: * Must have a design or draughtsperson experience utilising Solidworks or Rhino software * Familiar with producing layout drawings * Furniture, fit out, joinery or carpentry design experience would be highly advantageous * Must have the ability to read technical drawings * Excellent communication and customer service skills * High levels of attention to detail * IT literate (Microsoft Office) * Genuine ‘get up and go’ work ethic Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Jobs, Construction Vacancies and Specification positions within: Designer, Draughtsperson, Draughtsman, Rhino, Solidworks, CAD-CAM, Fit out, Joinery, Carpentry, Furniture, Bespoke Joinery, Bespoke Furniture
