The role of the Estimator Flat Roofing Systems will involve:
- Promoting the installation, maintenance and repair of flat roofing systems such as single ply, liquid applied, built-up felt, hot melt, and hard metal roofing systems
- Reviewing tender enquiries to gain an understanding of project requirements
- Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information required
- Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain competitive prices
- Producing formal quotations to clients
- Keeping good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
- Building and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors
- Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met
- Estimating for projects ranging in value up to circa £1m
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator Flat Roofing Systems with:
- Estimating experience within the roofing, cladding or related market sectors
- Sound understanding of roofing and building legislation
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong numerical skills
- IT literate (Microsoft Office, particularly savvy in Excel)
- Confident and articulate individual
