Responsibilities
- Junior Estimator position promoting a manufactured range of commercial and residential design & build projects
- Support the Managing Director with the preparation and submission of tenders for commercial and residential design & build projects
- Assist in reviewing project requirements, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate understanding of scope
- Help produce detailed cost estimates aligned with client requirements
- Liaise with internal teams to gather information and ensure deadlines are met
- Attend project handover meetings to build understanding of live projects and processes
- Assist with variations, project valuations, and tracking work in progress for client submissions
Qualifications
- Must have a related degree within the construction industry
- Ideal for a candidate who’s looking to step and grow into an Estimator role
- Ideally had technical experience within a subcontractor
- Highly advantageous to have Estimating experience
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Logical thinker with excellent numeracy skills
