The role of the Sales Estimator Architectural Stonework will involve:

  • Dealing with a high quality manufactured range of architectural stonework such as facades, cladding, wall dressings, window dressings, balustrades, landscaping & paving.
  • Producing quotes & take offs from architectural drawings.
  • Producing CAD designs / drawings relevant to the project.
  • Managing the process from enquiry through to completion.
  • Office based role with some requirement to visit customers, typically the home counties region.
  • Liaising with architects, specifiers, main contractors, sub-contractors, and private end users.
  • Reviewing drawings and gaining an understanding of projects/requirements.
  • Working on projects varying in size from £10k to £250k.

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Experience within the building products sector, ideally with a technical understanding of stone, facade, lintels or a closely related product/system.
  • Experience as one or more of the following: Designer, Architectural Technician, Sales Executive, Estimator, Draughtsman or closely related.
  • AutoCAD experience is highly advantageous.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office).
