Area to be covered: North West & Midlands (Birmingham, Manchester, Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire)

Remuneration: £43,000 - £45,000 + £8,000 - £9,000 bonus

The role of the Regional Sales Manager Building Envelope Systems will involve:

  • Field sales position selling a high quality manufactured range of thermal insulation, acoustic flooring, membranes and gas protection products
  • All of your time will be spent selling to a mixed route to market via: consulting engineers, builders merchants, merchants, distributors, stockists, housebuilders, local authorities, housing associations, engineers, contractors
  • Will deal with architects and specifiers however a much smaller element
  • Dealing with order values ranging from £5k - £100k depending on size and scope
  • Inheriting a successful territory
  • Will be required to conduct regular CPDs
  • Will work closely with internal team and other members of the sales team

The ideal applicant will be a Regional Sales Manager Building Envelope Systems with:

  • Must have construction field sales experience selling building products
  • Ideally building envelope or roofing related background (not essential)
  • Must have sold to merchants, distribution and stockists OR design & build contractors, authorities, housebuilders, main contractors, sub-contractors, civil contractors and specifiers (ideally both)
  • Able to communicate at all levels from architects, merchants and contractors
  • Must have genuine desire to learn and expand your career
  • Numerate and IT literate ideally degree level education
  • Genuine hunger, desire to achieve goals and an analytical approach
