The role of the Estimator Glazing will involve:

  • Working on a range of internal fit out projects estimating a range of glazing screening partitions.
  • Liaising with main contractors on a range of commercial projects across the office sector.
  • Preparing accurate cost estimates and tenders for interior office glazing and partition systems.
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
  • Producing detailed material take-offs and pricing schedules.
  • Liaising with main contractors on enquiries, clarifications, and value engineering.
  • Sourcing and assessing supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Identifying risks, exclusions, and assumptions within tenders.
  • Supporting project handover to delivery and commercial teams.

Typical project values range from £10k to £1m. The majority of your time will be spent in the central London office.

The ideal applicant will have:

  • 2+ years experience as an estimator within commercial glazing, curtain walling, interior partitions, drywall, etc.
  • Experience working with tier 1 contractors (ideally).
  • A good understanding of technical drawings.
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
  • A driven, hungry, ambitious, and enthusiastic attitude.
