The role of the CAD Designer Fit-Out & Storage Solutions will involve:
- Working on multiple racking, mezzanine floors and office fit-out projects for the industrial & commercial market sector.
- Using AutoCAD to produce detailed technical drawings from client brief and project specifications.
- Working closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams to develop practical and commercially viable design solutions.
- Managing projects from initial concept through to manufacture, ensuring designs meet customer requirements and production capabilities.
- Liaising with production and operational teams to resolve technical queries and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Maintaining accurate project documentation, drawings and specifications whilst providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Reviewing and revising drawings in line with client feedback, site surveys and design changes to ensure projects are delivered accurately and efficiently.
The ideal applicant will be a CAD Designer with:
- Design experience within the construction industry.
- Experience with office fit-out, mezzanines or racking & shelving or closely related.
- AutoCAD experience is highly advantageous.
- A degree or relevant construction qualification is preferred.
- Confidence, resilience and articulate communication skills.
- Strong organisation skills and high attention to detail.
- Technical understanding and ability to interpret drawings.
