The role of the Estimator Door systems will involve:
- Dealing with a range of manufactured door-sets & solutions.
- The majority of your time will be spent raising estimates and price schedules for main contractors and joinery sub-contractors.
- Push brand recognition by attending events, meetings and trade exhibitions.
- Produce clear, accurate, and competitive quotations in line with company standards.
- Maintain organised records of quotes, pricing data, and supplier information.
- Work closely with the operations and maintenance teams to ensure estimates reflect practical delivery.
- Assist in reviewing completed projects, comparing estimated versus actual costs where applicable.
- Ensure all quotations are prepared and issued in line with agreed timescales and priorities.
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator Door systems with:
- Estimating experience within the construction industry.
- Experience within architectural ironmongery, fenestration, door hardware, or related products is highly advantageous.
- Will also consider candidates from the fenestration sector in closely related roles (e.g. sales or administration) who are willing to learn and develop.
- Full UK driving license.
- IT literate (Microsoft Office).
- The ability to work under pressure and to timescales.
- Team player with a positive outlook.
- Must be commercially aware and cost focused.
