The role of Estimator – Bespoke Joinery will involve:

  • Estimator position dealing with a high end range of bespoke commercial joinery projects (desks, panelling, furniture, cabinets and surfaces)
  • May be a requirement to visit sites across the South East & London
  • Review tender enquiries to determine scope of works and project deadlines
  • Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
  • Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
  • Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
  • Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Bespoke Joinery with:

  • Must have Estimating experience within the joinery / bespoke joinery / cabinet maker / bespoke furniture market or closely related sectors
  • Highly advantageous to have knowledge of Contract Controller
  • Great technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Good team player who also works well individually
