The role of the Contracts Manager Roofing Systems will involve:
- Contracts Manager position dealing with various flat roofing systems such as: bitumen membrane systems, single ply systems, hot melt waterproofing, cold applied liquid systems, insulation & green roofs.
- Overseeing all aspects of the Contracts Team: management, surveying, financial, contractual, planning, leadership and communication.
- Assisting with the preparation of quality bids, pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs), and other presentations as required.
- Maintaining good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation.
- Responsible for accepting, approving, and issuing contracts and subcontracts.
- Ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Conducting regular site visits to all projects to ensure that they are running smoothly.
- Managing projects ranging in value from £100k up to circa £3m.
The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Manager Roofing Systems with:
- Must have Contracts Management or Project Management experience within the roofing market sector, highly advantageous to have Flat Roofing experience.
- Experience dealing with Tier 1 contractors.
- Must be confident in resolving any project related issues in a professional manner.
- Must be an outgoing character who will be an integral part of the team.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal.
- IT literate (Microsoft Office).
- Effective time management, leadership and organisational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
