The role of the Business Development Manager - Plant and Site Equipment Hire will involve:
- Field sales position selling the hire of site accommodation, static and mobile welfare units and site power generators with renewable energy
- Promoting mobile welfare units, CCTV, fire & security, site toilets & showers, wheel washing, lighting towers, shelters & storage, fuel & water tanks, site power generation, site accommodation and solar generators, solar smart frames, battery storage units and renewable power accessories
- Predominantly selling into construction contractors as well as civils, utilities, infrastructure, and public sector
- Targeting sustainable teams within the contractors
- Responsible for growing an area from £1.5m to£2m turnover
- Target based predominantly on hire, but also includes service and 3rd party products when providing a one stop shop, such as fencing security etc.
- 75% new business within existing contractors and 25% new business within new customers
- Glenigan leads provided, plus an influx of leads from the office
The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager - Plant and Site Equipment Hire with:
- Hire/ rental field sales industry experience
- Ideally knowledge of renewable power products
- Open to all power generations, battery and solar field sales backgrounds
- New business hunter
- Engineering knowledge
- Experience of providing power related solutions and communicating technical product knowledge
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills
- Construction sector experience
- Understanding of electrical installations
