The role of the CAD Technician – Facades will involve:
- CAD Engineer position dealing with various SFS and curtain walling projects across the UK
- Produce detailed CAD drawings and fabrication designs for façade systems.
- Develop accurate manufacturing drawings, cutting lists and fabrication details.
- Work closely with the design, estimating and production teams to ensure designs meet project requirements.
- Review technical specifications and ensure drawings comply with relevant standards and client requirements.
- Liaise with internal teams and suppliers to resolve technical queries and support the successful delivery of façade projects.
- Working on projects ranging in value from £2m to £30m
The ideal applicant will be a CAD Technician – Facades with:
- Must have experience with the HiCAD software package within the facades industry
- Ideally have experience with fabrication
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong relationship building skills
- High levels of organisation and attention to detail
- Enthusiastic, team player, who works well individually also
