The role of the Business Development Manager - Plumbing & Heating Systems will involve:

  • Dealing with a range of underfloor heating systems sold into main contractors, plumbing contractors, mechanical contractors and house builders.
  • Achieving new business sales targets by building and managing a strong, right-sized pipeline.
  • Proactively generating new opportunities through structured prospecting and face-to-face appointments.
  • Owning the full sales cycle from lead generation to onboarding and order handover.
  • Maximising customer spend through value-based selling, upsell/cross-sell, and collaboration with Key Account Managers.
  • Acting as a trusted product expert and brand ambassador, delivering excellent customer service and continuous self-improvement.

The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager - Plumbing & Heating Systems with:

  • 2+ years' experience in business development or a similar sales role.
  • Experience within underfloor heating systems and/or experience selling into main contractors, plumbing contractors, mechanical contractors and house builders.
  • Strong lead generation and prospecting skills, with good commercial and numerical awareness.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), personable, professional, and articulate.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented, with strong time management and teamwork skills.
