The role of the Business Development Manager – Major Infrastructure will involve:

  • Field sales position, responsible for promoting the hire and sale of powered access equipment, plant hire, platforms and capital equipment.
  • Selling to Tier-1 contractors, infrastructure companies and other key construction sector clients.
  • All of your time will be spent visiting clients and construction sites across London, with the remainder working remotely from home (diary dependent).
  • Primarily new business focusing on bringing in new long term clients.
  • Managing and developing accounts, building long-term relationships to maximise repeat business and revenue growth.
  • Providing product demonstrations, customer training and technical support, ensuring clients understand the capabilities, benefits and safe operation of the equipment.

The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager – Major Infrastructure with:

  • Must have a proven track record in field sales within powered access, plant hire, capital equipment or similar construction-related sectors.
  • Highly advantageous to have experience selling into the Major Infrastructure sector.
  • Strong new business skills, but capable of account management.
  • Reliable, trustworthy and organised.
  • An ability to read drawings, IT literate, used CRM systems before etc.
  • Mix of construction and engineering background preferred.
