Job Title: Area Sales Manager Flooring & Interiors
Industry Sector: Housebuilders, housing associations, social housing, private developers, commercial flooring & total flooring solutions that include Linoleum, Vinyl, Luxury Vinyl Tiles, Flocked Flooring, Carpet Tiles and Entrance Flooring Systems
Areas to be covered: North and Scotland
Remuneration: Up to £50,000 + £10,000-£15,000 Uncapped Commission + possible g tee year one

The role of the Area Sales Manager Flooring & Interiors will involve:
- Field sales position, selling our clients manufactured range of commercial flooring & total flooring solutions that include Linoleum, Vinyl, Luxury Vinyl Tiles, Flocked Flooring, Carpet Tiles and Entrance Flooring Systems (focus on Vinyl)
- Working in conjunction with the National Housebuilder Manager, who will provide strategic guidance
- Tasked with growing the housebuilder team (2 dedicated field sales) revenue from £2m to £3m-£4m over the next 3-5 years
- Predominantly a new business development role
- Targeting predominantly regional housebuilders, but also social housing/ housing associations and local authorities
- Targeting general/ commercial office predominantly but also some private medical, student accommodation etc.
- Project sizes from £10,000-£150,000, average £40,0000-£50,000
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Flooring & Interiors with:
- Must have field sales experience with housebuilders (preferably regional housebuilders), private developers, social housing or housing associations
- Interior building products or interior finishes field sales experience, flooring not essential
- Ideally with housebuilder contacts within the major conurbations; Manchester, Leeds etc.
- Resilient personality
- Ability to cope will vast product portfolio
- Ability to handle projects from inception right through to completion
- Fabric, wall coverings, flooring, partitioning, ceilings and other aesthetically pleasing interior products of interest
- IT literate
