The role of the Sales Manager – Rooflights will involve:
- Managing an internal team and selling a high-end range of roof lights and roof windows.
- Responsible for the management and growth of 5 internal team members.
- Selling into commercial and domestic sectors, contractors and builders.
- The role will be an even split between business development and account management.
- Promoting new products and supporting special offers.
- Pro-actively selling, following up leads and enquiries promptly.
- Producing quotes to customers and following up to convert sales.
- Upselling and cross-selling where possible.
- Elements of stock keeping and ordering materials to maintain stock levels.
- Dealing with projects ranging in value from £1k up to £250k.
The ideal applicant will be a Sales Manager – Rooflights with:
- Must have sales experience within the construction industry.
- Highly advantageous if experienced in glass, glazing, rooflights, roof windows, skylights, roof lanterns, architectural glazing, bespoke glazing etc.
- Ideally will have existing people management experience.
- Full UK driving license.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
- Driven, hungry, ambitious and enthusiastic.
