The role of the Trade Area Sales Manager - Heating Controls will involve:
- Field sales position selling a manufactured range of heating controls systems and newly launched smart thermostat for radiators
- Majority of your time will be spent selling to housing associations, housebuilders, social housing organisations, plumbing & heating contractors & installers
- The remaining portion of your time will be spent selling to / managing plumbing & heating merchants, electrical wholesalers and independent merchants accounts
- Offering advice on promotions, merchandising (small amount), providing support, technical input, passing on sales leads etc.
- Targeted to achieve circa £1m revenue
- Four days a week on the road, one day a week (Friday) working from home - administration
The ideal applicant will be a Trade Area Sales Manager - Heating Controls with:
- Ideally 2 years+ construction external field sales experience
- Plumbing & heating/ electrical market experience is not essential but may be useful
- May consider a branch manager for a plumbing and heating merchant or electrical wholesaler
- Would consider someone more junior in their career
- Ideally sold to plumbing & heating contractors/ installers
- Ideally managed merchants, distributors or electrical wholesale accounts
- Enthusiastic, and comfortable working with an evolving business
- Must be IT literate
- IEE electrical/electronics HNC / HND or equivalent would be a bonus
- Attention to detail and methodical organisational skills
