The role of the Quantity Surveyor – Main Contractor will involve:
- Managing the commercial and financial aspects of multiple construction projects, ensuring costs are controlled and budgets are maintained.
- Preparing cost estimates, valuations, financial reports, variations, and final accounts.
- Supporting procurement activities, including tender analysis, subcontractor appointments, and contract administration.
- Carrying out regular site visits, monitoring project progress, and identifying commercial risks and cost-saving opportunities.
- Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
The ideal applicant will be a Quantity Surveyor – Main Contractor with:
- Quantity Surveying experience in construction.
- Residential or refurbishment experience.
- Experience within Permitted Development would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal across all levels.
- Confidence and articulation.
