The role of the Area Sales Manager –Civil Building Products will involve: ·
Field sales role promoting predominantly a manufactured range of access & drainage solutions such as: access cover, gully gratings, steel covers, drainage ·
50% of your time will be spent selling to national & independent civil's merchants such as: Burdens, Keyline, Civils & Lintel and JDP ·
The remaining 50% will be spilt evenly selling to contractors & utilities ·
Once up and running will be expected to turnover £1m ·
Working closely with and reporting to SD & MD The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Civil Building Products with: ·
Must have worked for or sold to builders merchants or contractors ·
Open in terms of what products you've sold ·
Would consider an internal sales / branch professional working for merchant such as Jewson Civils, JDP, Keylite and Burdens ·
Would consider someone from a tier 1 contractor focusing on infrastructure projects ·
Ideally sold some civils or heavyside building products such as; building drainage, m
anhole covers, access covers, gratings, linear drainage channel, underground pipes and fittings, security chambers/ covers etc. ·
Autonomous in nature ·
