The role of the Contracts Manager Safety Systems will involve:
- Dealing with a manufactured range of height safety and fall arrest safety systems (such as access ladders, walkway systems, lifelines, safety gates, steel and aluminium railing systems).
- Managing multiple projects from order acceptance through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Conducting site surveys, customer meetings and project inspections across the UK as required.
- Producing project documentation including risk assessments, method statements, job packs and technical submissions.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, installation teams and internal departments to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitoring project costs, margins and progress, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Managing project programmes, resolving site issues and ensuring compliance with training, safety and operational requirements.
- Overseeing projects ranging in value from £2,000 to £100,000.
The ideal applicant will be:
- Must have Contract Management / Project Management or Site Management experience dealing with a technical product within the construction industry.
- Ideally have height safety and fall arrest safety systems experience although would be open to entrance systems, fire, CCTV, access, roofing systems or a closely related product/system.
- Existing IOSH or NEBOSH certification or open to getting qualification.
- Organised, have good time management skills and be self-motivated to perform and reach targets.
