Remuneration: £35,000-£40,000 Neg. + 10-15% bonus.

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Hard Landscaping and Paving will involve:
- Field sales role selling a high quality manufactured and distributed hard landscaping products, such as landscaping consumables products (sealers, primers, epoxy grout, jointing compounds etc.).
- Selling into 200 distribution customers, predominantly builder’s merchants but also landscaping distributors, DIY and Gardening outlets.
- Responsible for a £1m sales ledger.
- This role will be predominantly account development as our client is already known within 85% of all potential customers.
- 4 days a week on the road visiting customers, one day working from home/admin.
- Customers will vary from £5,000 to £120,000 turnover.
- Once up and running the long term plan is to add 3-4 new accounts per quarter.
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Hard Landscaping and Paving with:
- Must have experience selling into distribution, ideally builder’s merchants but landscaping distributors, DIY and Gardening outlets are also of interest.
- Open on what building products you have sold in the past as full training on products will be provided.
- Must be a relationship builder.
- Business savvy.
- Prior experience of hard landscaping products or consumables is not required.
- Able to manage own patch and work autonomously.
- Excellent communicator at all levels with a resilient personality.
- Hungry, driven and dynamic.
