The role of the Technical Support Engineer Boilers & Renewables will involve:
- Providing technical support dealing with a range of heating solutions such as boilers, heat tanks and renewable heat pumps.
- Acting as first line technical support to merchants, contractors, installers and housing associations for all queries relating to central heating products.
- Offering technical support to internal stakeholders.
- Fielding inbound telephone queries and providing appropriate solutions.
- Carrying out product training and familiarisation for both colleagues and customers.
- Prompt and accurate reporting to the Customer Care Manager.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.
The ideal applicant will be a Technical Support Engineer Boilers & Renewables with:
- Experience within the plumbing, heating and renewables sector.
- Knowledge specifically in renewables, heat pumps and air sourced heat pumps (ideal but not essential).
- A background as an engineer, installer, technical support, or technical advisor (open to closely related roles).
- A positive telephone manner with the ability to resolve customer queries professionally.
- IT literacy (Microsoft Office).
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- A stable career history.
