The role will involve:
- Field based area position promoting a high quality range of engineered wood products.
- This role is a temporary position for 6-12 months.
- All of your time will be focused on managing one of our clients largest spending national builder merchants accounts (Travis Perkins).
- Inheriting circa 130 branches to maintain.
- Support with new product launches and development.
- Directly involved with pricing implementation.
- Liaise with internal customer service, marketing, supply team and transport teams.
- Manage vendor performance.
The ideal applicant will have:
- Field based experience in the building trade.
- Experience in an area sales or business development role.
- Consideration for a merchandiser.
- Experience dealing with national merchants and managing accounts.
- Ideally sold timber / wood products, however not essential.
