The predicted salary is between 43650 - 53350 £ per year.
The role of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor Groundworks & Civils will involve:
- Dealing with a range of Groundworks & Civils projects, including infrastructure, surfacing and earthworks.
- Visiting sites across the East Midlands.
- Assisting with procurement of subcontract packages.
- Measuring works and preparing valuations.
- Processing subcontractor payments.
- Assisting with cost reporting and CVRs.
- Managing variations and compensation events.
- Attending site and commercial meetings.
- Supporting the QS with final accounts.
- Helping maintain project budgets and forecasts.
The ideal applicant will be an Assistant Quantity Surveyor Groundworks & Civils with:
- Quantity Surveying experience within the construction sector.
- Experience across the civils, infrastructure, groundworks or closely related sector is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal across all levels.
- Confidence and articulation.
- IT literacy in Microsoft Office.
- A full UK driving license.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
