The role will involve:
- Selling a high quality distributed range of plastic building products such as fascia & soffit, cladding, guttering, decking and drainage
- Selling to general builders, contractors, roofline contractors, regional housebuilders and window fitters
- Dealing with national merchants such as Travis Perkins, Jewson’s, MKM, Huws Gray
- Managing a wide range of project sizes ranging from £250 - £20k+
- Achieving a turnover target of circa £60k per month
- Learning basic branch responsibilities
- Generating new business
The ideal applicant will have:
- Building products field sales experience
- Experience selling to builders merchants or builders / contractors (ideally both)
- A black book of transferable contracts (ideally)
- Knowledge of plastics such as fascia, soffits, guttering, drainage, cladding, decking (not essential)
- Team player, self-motivated and outgoing
- Driven, enthusiastic, focused
