Area Sales Manager – Residential Heat Pumps\\nJob Title: Area Sales Manager – Residential Heat Pumps\\nIndustry Sector: HVAC, Regional Housebuilders, plumbing and heating contractors, M&E Contractors, Building Services Consultants, M&E Consultants, , Social Housing, Retro-Fit, Ground Source Heat Pumps, Air Source Heat Pumps, Exhaust Air Heat Pumps, Biomass Boilers, Solar Thermal, and Whole House Ventilation\\nArea to be covered: Midlands\\nRemuneration: £50,000 + £15,000 Bonus\\nBenefits: Electric Car and full benefits\\nThe role of the Area Sales Manager – Residential Heat Pumps will involve:\\n * Field sales role, promoting a manufactured range of predominantly ground source heat pumps, air source heat pumps and exhaust air heat pumps as well as biomass boilers, solar thermal, and whole house ventilation\\n * Selling into regional housebuilders, plumbing and heating contractors, M&E contractors as well as building services consultants and M&E consultants\\n * Projects are typically private residential, but our client is looking to expand into the social housing and retro-fit markets\\n * Tasked with achieving £2m revenue\\n * Predominantly a new business development role, but will be a mix of account management as well\\n * Utilising an existing database of contacts, leads via marketing as well as your own contacts\\n * Project sizes from £6,000 for one heat pump to a plumbing and heating contractor, up to £200,000 for 40-50 houses\\n * Conducting 1-2 CPD presentations per month\\nThe ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Residential Heat Pumps with:\\n * Must have a field sales proven track record in the sale of heat pumps or renewable products\\n * On the up in career\\n * Must have sold into regional housebuilders, plumbing and heating contractors or M&E contractors\\n * Some specification field sales experience with building services consultants or M&E consultants may be advantageous\\n * Contacts within the social housing, local authorities or retro-fit market would be ideal\\n * A technical understanding of ground source heat pumps, air source heat pumps or exhaust air heat pumps is not essential\\n * Open to all HVAC backgrounds including; biomass boilers, solar thermal, whole house ventilation etc.\\n * Ideally will have pre-existing contacts within the industry\\n * Exceptional communication and presentation skills\\n * Highly organised, able to manage own day-to-day\\n * Energetic and passionate\\n * Team player\\nMitchell Maguire is a specialist construction sales recruitment consultancy, dealing exclusively with construction field sales jobs, construction sales vacancies and internal sales positions within: HVAC, Regional Housebuilders, plumbing and heating contractors, M&E Contractors, Building Service s Consultants, M&E Consultants, , Social Housing, Retro-Fit, Ground Source Heat Pumps, Air Source Heat Pumps, Exhaust Air Heat Pumps, Biomass Boilers, Solar Thermal, and Whole House Ventilation
