The role of the Area Sales Manager – Renders will involve:

  • Managing sales of a high-quality manufactured range of renders
  • Winning specifications with architects, main contractors, and housebuilder developers
  • Managing relationships with 2 key distribution accounts (Northern Ireland and Dublin)
  • Growing the area from £300,000 to £750,000 in the last year
  • Achieving a £1m turnover target
  • Managing a project bank of circa £750,000
  • Handling material project values up to £200,000+
  • Conducting a CPD presentation monthly
  • Visiting architects and conducting site visits, typically 2-4 per day
  • Spending 50% of time in Northern Ireland and 50% traveling to Dublin
  • Potential to grow into a field sales manager role covering Ireland

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Proven experience in field-based sales of construction/heavy-side building materials such as renders, plasters, cladding, insulation, rainscreen, facades, or related products
  • Experience selling to architects, main contractors, or housebuilder developers
  • Experience conducting CPD presentations (preferred)
  • Technical and on-site knowledge of building materials
  • Genuine drive, determination, and professionalism
  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight when necessary
