Remuneration: £38,000 - £40,000 + 20% bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Plastic Building & Roofing Products will involve:

  • Area Sales Manager position selling a high quality distributed range of plastic building products such as: fascia & soffit, cladding, guttering, decking and drainage
  • Selling to general builders, contactors, roofline contractors, regional housebuilders and window fitters
  • Dealing with and selling to national merchants such as: Travis Perkins, Jewson’s, MKM, Huws Gray
  • Dealing with a wide range of project sizes ranging from £250 - £20k+ depending on the size and type of project
  • Turnover target of circa £60k per month
  • Will be expected to learn basic branch responsibilities
  • Majority of your time will be spent generating new business

The ideal applicant will be a Area Sales Manager - Plastic Building & Roofing Products with:

  • Must have building products field sales experience
  • Must have sold to either builders merchants or builders / contractors (ideally both)
  • Ideally have a black book of transferable contracts
  • Ideally plastics such as: fascia, soffits, guttering, drainage, cladding, decking, channel drainage, roof outlets, rainwater drainage, UPVC drainage, windows etc (not essential)
  • Team player, self-motivated and outgoing
  • Driven, enthusiastic, focused
