The role of the Area Sales Manager – Kitchens Sinks, Taps & Worktops will involve:
Field sales position selling a manufactured range of kitchen sinks, taps, worktops and accessories and new products such as appliances, hobs and lighting which have great growth prospects
80% of your time will be spent selling to kitchen retailers & kitchen showrooms
The remaining portion will be spent dealing with and selling to plumbers merchants, builders merchants and electrical wholesalers
Inheriting a well-established area currently turning over £2.1m
Circa 350-400 spending accounts
70 account management, 20% new business, 10% admin
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Kitchen Sinks, Taps & Worktops with:
Must have a proven field sales & territory management track record
Open in terms of what you have sold however ideally have KBB product related experience
Ideally sold to kitchen retailers, kitchen showrooms, OR plumbers merchants, builders merchants
Would be open to other industry background such as: FMCG & electrical
Excellent commercial skills, IT literate
Flair for developing business relationships
Excellent presentation skills
Resilient hard working personality
